Pratibha Bhaskaran
With a background in Computer Science and Engineering, Pratibha decided to explore the world of Human-Computer Interaction by diving into the Masters program at the School of Information, University of Michigan. She is particularly interested in the dynamics of culture and computing, and might- just might - morph into a design ethnographer one day.
Liz Blankenship
Liz came to the School of Information after receiving her Bachelors degree in Computer Science and Mathematics. Now she focuses on the more human side of computing by studying HCI and social computing. She is not sure yet whether her interests will take her to a career in research or industry, but she is fascinated by user-centered design or research and happy to have the chance to try new usability analysis methods in this course.
Tammy Greene
Tammy graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a BA in Journalism and Mass Communications. She also completed a second major in Information Sciences. She worked at a consulting firm as a research assistant designing databases used for statistical analysis. And before returning to school, she worked as Taxonomy Specialist for a company that specializes in creating software solutions for mobile operators and media entertainment companies. She brings to the group experience in project management, survey research, data analysis, and database design. Tammy is also stickler for details and enjoys the planning aspect of project management.
