Liz Blankenship
Nationality: American
Liz is a graduate of Iowa State University and is originally from northwest Iowa. She received her Bachelor's degrees in both Computer Science and Mathematics. Although she hasn't decided upon a job in research or industry yet, she knows her education at SI will lead her to exciting career opportunities in Social Computing and Human-Computer Interaction. Some of her hobbies include cooking and eating vegetarian food, reading science fiction, and reducing her eco-footprint.
Chris Hanrath
Nationality: German
Chris graduated from the University of Cologne, Germany with a B.S. in Computer Science in Media Informatics.
He has been working as a Creative Design Consultant for Sapient Germany and returned to school to pursue a master degree
at the School of Information with a specialization in Human Computer Interaction and Information Analysis and Retrieval.
Pratibha Bhaskaran
Nationality: Indian
Pratibha graduated with a B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering from Anna University, India. Her desire to study the intersection of culture and computing led her to the Human Computer Interaction program at the School of Information, University of Michigan, where she is excited about the possibility of much multidisciplinary study!
Chia-Hui Lin
Nationality: Taiwanese
Chia-Hui has a B.A. in Economics from National Taiwan University and worked for BMW marketing department for two years. She plans to specialize in Human-Computer Interaction and Social Computing during her study at the School of Information and hopes to do product management in software industry afterwards. Besides her passion for information science, Chia-Hui also enjoys traveling, dancing, and cooking!
Jason Stewart
Nationality: American
Jason is an american graduate of the University of Michigan with a B.A. in Athropology and minored in both Science and Technology Studies (S.T.S.) and Classical Archaeology. During his time studying anthropology Jason developed and interest in functional human anatomy, which he eventually decided to combine with his passion for technology by studying Human-Computer Interaction. Jason's interests include waterskiing, traveling in eastern Europe, and photography.
