Problem
The Ross School of Business has a variety of courses and offers their students a tremendous amound of flexibility when choosing their academic pathways. However, the flexibility they offer can leave students with little sense of direction. Students have difficulty when selecting courses and often require the assistance of advising staff when web resources should have sufficed.
Customer
Our customer is the Ross School of Business, and we will be in contact with Evonne Plantinga, Senior Associate Director of Academic Services and Financial Aid.
Approach
We began by writing a communication covenant describing our plan for communicating and meeting outside of class, within the team and with the client. We will examine current advising solutions in the Ross School of Business and beyond, including the quality and completeness of the current information available to students selecting classes.
